Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer with deep expertise in Quality Systems to join a fully remote team serving South Africa. You will design, implement, and maintain robust QMS aligned with ISO 9001, SPC, and CAPA practices to drive product quality and process reliability.
You will work cross-functionally with manufacturing, R&D, and compliance teams, providing training and leadership to embed a culture of quality and continuous improvement from your home office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management principles.
- Experience with SPC, CAPA, and internal/external audits.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain QMS aligned with ISO 9001.
- Design and deploy SPC strategies to monitor quality.
- Lead CAPA activities and root cause analysis.
- Lead internal quality audits and support external audits.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, and compliance teams to integrate quality into new products and processes.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and deliver training on quality systems and methodologies.
- Champion culture of quality and continuous improvement.
