Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer for Randburg to strengthen quality systems and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. You will develop, implement, and monitor QMS to reduce defects and boost customer satisfaction.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial engineering with focus on quality, and experience with Six Sigma, Lean, SPC and FMEA, plus the ability to lead audits and CAPA initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality management systems (QMS) aligned with industry standards.

• Design and conduct process capability studies and statistical process control (SPC).
• Develop and deliver training programs on quality standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to ensure product quality throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance.
• Manage documentation related to quality procedures, policies, and records.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor key quality metrics and report on performance to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering with a specific focus on quality systems and process improvement.
• Proven experience with quality management tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, SPC, and FMEA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex quality data.
• Experience in conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead quality initiatives.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Randburg .
