Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers is seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team at Uffculme Mill. You will own electrical maintenance across our plant, diagnose faults, and lead planned maintenance to improve efficiency and safety.

The role requires experience in heavy manufacturing, familiarity with motor control equipment, PLCs, and current electrical standards. A City & Guilds electrical qualification is essential; the position is full-time and on-site with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial electrical engineering within heavy manufacturing
• Familiarity with motor control equipment, electrical panels, and geared motors
• Experience with PLCs and fault-finding to component level
• Good working knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations
• City & Guilds qualification in electrical engineering – 18th Edition
• Strong IT and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working in a dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environment (reasonable adjustments available)

About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours of Work:40 hours per week

As an Industrial Electrical Engineer, you’ll take ownership of electrical maintenance and engineering across our plant and equipment. You’ll diagnose and repair faults, deliver planned maintenance, and support projects that improve efficiency and safety. Working in a heavy manufacturing environment that can be dusty and noisy, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring uninterrupted feed production for our farming customers.
