Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers in Huntworth is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Engineer to keep our feed mill running safely and efficiently. You will work in a heavy manufacturing setting, reading electrical drawings, fault finding PLCs, and supporting maintenance.

This permanent, full-time role offers 45 hours per week, a strong safety culture, on-site parking, and opportunities for training and career progression within a UK farming business.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical engineering experience in heavy manufacturing
• Familiarity with motor control equipment, electrical panels, and geared motors
• Experience with PLCs and fault-finding to component level
• Knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations
• Strong IT and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working in a dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environment (reasonable adjustments available)

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment safely and efficiently
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs and routine servicing
• Supporting planned maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
• Collaborating with colleagues to solve problems and share knowledge
• Promoting a strong safety culture and compliance with regulations
