Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers in Dorchester is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will own electrical maintenance across our plant, diagnose faults, deliver planned maintenance, and support safety, quality and reliability across the feed mill.

This permanent, full-time role requires experience in heavy manufacturing, knowledge of motor control and PLCs, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset in a dusty, noisy production environment.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical engineering experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Familiar with motor control equipment, electrical panels, geared motors.
• Experience with PLCs and fault-finding to component level.
• Good knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations.
• City & Guilds qualification in electrical engineering (18th Edition).
• Strong IT and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented.
• Able to work in dusty, noisy environments with adjustments available.

Job description

We're looking for a skilled and proactive Industrial Electrical Engineer to join our team at Mole Valley Farmers. If you have experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment and want to take the next step in your career, this role offers the chance to make a real impact. You’ll help keep our feed mill running safely and efficiently, supporting British agriculture while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and reliability. As an Industrial Electrical Engineer, you’ll take ownership of electrical maintenance and engineering across our plant and equipment. You’ll diagnose and repair faults, deliver planned maintenance, and support projects that improve efficiency and safety. Working in a heavy manufacturing environment that can be dusty and noisy, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring uninterrupted feed production for our farming customers.
