Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers Limited is seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer to maintain and improve electrical systems across our Huntworth Mill plant. You will diagnose faults, manage planned maintenance, and support projects that boost efficiency and safety in a heavy manufacturing setting.

Applicants should have PLC fault-finding experience, familiarity with motor control equipment and electrical panels, and a City & Guilds electrical engineering qualification (18th Edition).

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical engineering within heavy manufacturing.
• Familiarity with motor control equipment, electrical panels, and geared motors.
• Experience with PLCs and fault-finding to component level.
• Good working knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations.
• City & Guilds qualification in electrical engineering – 18th Edition
• Strong IT and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working in a dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environment (reasonable adjustments available)

We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Industrial Electrical Engineer to join our team at Mole Valley Farmers. If you have experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment and want to take the next step in your career, this role offers the chance to make a real impact. You’ll help keep our feed mill running safely and efficiently, supporting British agriculture while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and reliability.

About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time

Hours of Work:45 hours per week

As an Industrial Electrical Engineer, you’ll take ownership of electrical maintenance and engineering across our plant and equipment. You’ll diagnose and repair faults, deliver planned maintenance, and support projects that improve efficiency and safety. Working in a heavy manufacturing environment that can be dusty and noisy, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring uninterrupted feed production for our farming customers.
