Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers Limited in Dorchester Mill is seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team. You will own electrical maintenance across plant and equipment, diagnose faults, and deliver planned maintenance to keep the feed mill running safely and efficiently.

This permanent, full-time role involves reading electrical drawings, supporting improvements, and promoting safety in a dusty, noisy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical engineering within heavy manufacturing
• Familiarity with motor control equipment, electrical panels and geared motors
• Experience with PLCs and fault-finding to component level
• Knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations
• City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification in electrical engineering

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment safely and efficiently
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs and routine servicing
• Supporting planned maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
• Promoting a strong safety culture and compliance with regulations
