Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers is seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer to maintain electrical systems across our Lifton plant, ensuring safety, reliability and continuous production. You will diagnose faults, perform planned maintenance, and support projects to improve efficiency in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Based at Lifton Mill, the role requires experience with PLCs, motor control, electrical panels, and schemes, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical engineering within heavy manufacturing.
• Familiarity with motor control equipment, electrical panels and geared motors.
• Experience with PLCs and fault-finding to component level.
• Good working knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations.
• City & Guilds qualification in electrical engineering – 18th Edition.
• Strong IT and problem-solving skills.

About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

As an Industrial Electrical Engineer, you’ll take ownership of electrical maintenance and engineering across our plant and equipment. You’ll diagnose and repair faults, deliver planned maintenance, and support projects that improve efficiency and safety. Working in a heavy manufacturing environment that can be dusty and noisy, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring uninterrupted feed production for our farming customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs and routine servicing
• Supporting planned maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
