Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers Limited is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Engineer to own mechanical maintenance across our plant and equipment at Lifton Mill. You will diagnose faults, deliver planned maintenance and support projects to improve efficiency and safety.

This full-time, permanent role operates in a dusty, noisy manufacturing environment, offering training, career progression and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy manufacturing or similar environments.
• Familiarity with conveying systems (screw conveyors, chain & flight conveyors, belt bucket elevators) and pneumatic systems.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety.
• Good IT and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, reliable and team-oriented.
• Able to carry out tasks in a dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environment (reasonable adjustments available).

We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Industrial Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Mole Valley Farmers. If you have experience in mechanical engineering within a manufacturing environment and want to take the next step in your career, this role offers the chance to make a real impact. About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

As an Industrial Mechanical Engineer, you’ll take ownership of mechanical maintenance and engineering across our plant and equipment. You’ll diagnose and repair faults, deliver planned maintenance, and support projects that improve efficiency and safety. Working in a heavy manufacturing environment that can be dusty and noisy, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring uninterrupted feed production for our farming customers.

Key responsibilities include:
