Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers is seeking an Industrial Mechanical Engineer to oversee mechanical maintenance across the Dorchester Mill. You will diagnose faults, perform planned maintenance, and support projects to improve efficiency and safety in a dusty, heavy manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong health and safety understanding, the ability to read site drawings, and collaboration with colleagues to maintain continuous production and reliability for farming customers.

• Familiarity with conveying systems and pneumatic systems.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety.

About The Role

• Contract: Permanent
• Hours: Full time
• Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

As an Industrial Mechanical Engineer, you’ll take ownership of mechanical maintenance and engineering across our plant and equipment. You’ll diagnose and repair faults, deliver planned maintenance, and support projects that improve efficiency and safety. Working in a heavy manufacturing environment that can be dusty and noisy, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring uninterrupted feed production for our farming customers.

• Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented
• Able to carry out tasks in a dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environment (reasonable adjustments available)
