Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers in Dorchester Mill is seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer to own electrical maintenance across our plant and equipment. You will diagnose faults, deliver planned maintenance, and support projects that improve efficiency and safety in a heavy manufacturing environment.

This permanent, full-time role offers 40 hours per week, a strong safety culture, and opportunities to develop within British agriculture.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical engineering within heavy manufacturing.
• Familiarity with motor control equipment, electrical panels, and geared motors.
• Experience with PLCs and fault-finding to component level.
• Knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
• Strong IT and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable in dusty, noisy, physically demanding environment.

About The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

As an Industrial Electrical Engineer, you’ll take ownership of electrical maintenance and engineering across our plant and equipment. You’ll diagnose and repair faults, deliver planned maintenance, and support projects that improve efficiency and safety. Working in a heavy manufacturing environment that can be dusty and noisy, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring uninterrupted feed production for our farming customers.
