Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers in Dorchester Mill is seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer to own electrical maintenance across our plant and equipment. You will diagnose faults, deliver planned maintenance, and support projects that improve efficiency and safety in a heavy manufacturing environment.

This permanent, full-time role offers 40 hours per week, a strong safety culture, and opportunities to develop within British agriculture.

Qualifications

Experience in industrial electrical engineering within heavy manufacturing.
Familiarity with motor control equipment, electrical panels, and geared motors.
Experience with PLCs and fault-finding to component level.
Knowledge of current electrical standards and regulations.
City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
Strong IT and problem-solving skills.
Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented.
Comfortable in dusty, noisy, physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

Maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment safely and efficiently
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs and routine servicing
Supporting planned maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
Collaborating with colleagues to solve problems and share knowledge
Promoting a strong safety culture and compliance with regulations
