Job summary

BPX in Nottingham is seeking a Business Development Executive to grow our engineering and automation portfolio from the New Basford area. You will build new relationships, nurture existing accounts and present value‑led solutions to customers and manufacturers.

The role offers a permanent, full‑time contract in a busy team, with opportunities for training and development, and a strong local BPX presence.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience.
• Track record of growth through new and existing accounts/partnerships.
• Familiarity with relationships between manufacturers, distributors and customers.
• Strong relationship‑building skills and excellent communication.
• Organised, customer‑centric and able to prioritise effectively.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth by developing new and existing business in defined area.
• Identify opportunities, build trust with customers and present value‑led solutions.
• Balance prospecting with nurturing existing accounts and participate in campaigns.
• Maintain a strong local presence at the BPX branch and support marketing activities.
• Commit to ongoing learning to grow technical knowledge and commercial capability.
