Job summary

Abri is seeking an Independent Living Partner to support customers aged 55+ within our Liphook Independent Living scheme. You will be the first point of contact for tenancy, leasehold and housing management, building trusted relationships to help residents maintain independence.

The role includes inductions, allocations, wellbeing checks and safeguarding, plus health and safety duties, with travel between schemes as needed. DBS check required and driving license essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service in housing, independent living, health or social care settings.
• Knowledge of tenancy management, allocations, anti-social behaviour, repairs and compliance.
• Ability to support vulnerable customers and empower independence.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with customers and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for tenancy, leasehold and housing management support.
• Build trusted relationships through wellbeing contacts to help residents maintain independence.
• Manage customer journeys from viewings and sign-ups through tenancy sustainment and support.
• Carry out inductions, manage allocations and support void property management.
• Respond to safeguarding concerns and wellbeing issues with Adult Social Care and health partners.
• Conduct health, fire safety and compliance checks to keep schemes safe.
• Monitor contractors and service providers and drive issues to resolution.
• Address low-level anti-social behaviour and educate tenants on tenancy responsibilities.
• Encourage resident involvement and organize local engagement activities that promote wellbeing.
