Job summary

Abri in the UK is seeking an Independent Living Partner to support customers aged 55+ in our Liphook scheme (GU33 7LG). You will deliver a high‑quality housing and wellbeing service, and act as the first point of contact for tenancy and housing management matters.

You will conduct inductions, manage allocations and voids, respond to safeguarding and wellbeing concerns, complete safety checks, monitor contractors, and develop local engagement activities to reduce isolation and promote belonging.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service within housing, independent living, health or community settings.
• Knowledge of tenancy management, allocations, anti-social behaviour, repairs and compliance.
• Ability to support vulnerable customers and empower independence.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with external agencies.
• Experience in risk assessments and safeguarding.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage priorities.
• Proactive, empathetic and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers, providing tenancy, leasehold and housing management support.
• Build trusted relationships through wellbeing contacts to maintain independence.
• Manage customer journeys from viewings and sign-ups to tenancy sustainment.
• Carry out inductions, manage allocations and void properties.
• Respond to safeguarding concerns and emergencies with Adult Social Care and health partners.
• Perform health and safety, fire safety and compliance checks.
• Monitor contractors and service providers to ensure resolution of issues.
• Address low-level anti-social behaviour and reinforce tenancy responsibilities.
• Encourage resident involvement and local engagement activities.
