Job summary

Great Places Housing Association is seeking a Housing and Wellbeing Officer to work with customers to promote independence within a customer-focused environment, guided by the Independence and Wellbeing framework. You’ll identify strengths and risks with customers, help them access services, coach for independence, manage tenancy duties, respond to feedback, and participate in safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-focused roles within social housing is desirable.
• Commitment to understand the challenges in the communities where we work.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to identify strengths, development needs and risks to build independence.
• Help customers access other agencies and community services.
• Coach customers to maintain occupancy agreements and understand responsibilities.
• Encourage and record feedback from customers and respond to complaints/ compliments.
• Ensure safeguarding concerns are addressed promptly in line with policies.
• Manage tenancy-related duties including voids, repairs, allocations, lettings, rents, and adaptations.
• Carry out Health and Safety duties as directed by the Housing and Wellbeing Manager.
