Job summary

E-ACT Bristol Academy South is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students in classrooms and contribute to an inclusive learning environment. You will collaborate with teaching staff to deliver engaging instruction and provide targeted support to individuals and small groups.

The role requires GCSE English & Maths at grade C/4 or above and prior experience working with children or young people.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
• Experience with children or young people in education or youth settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support to students and help them access learning.
• Work with teachers to deliver lessons and offer targeted support to individuals and small groups.
• Support students with a range of needs, including SEND.
• Assist with preparation of learning resources and classroom activities.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
