Job summary

Ormiston Bushfield Academy is seeking an Alternative Provision Coordinator to organise and co-ordinate provision across the Academy and support attendance. The role involves working with external providers and agencies, including QA visits to ensure suitability of placements.

The post is full-time with a pattern Mon-Thu 8:00–16:00 and Fri 8:00–15:30, term-time plus one week (39 weeks/year). Flexibility and adaptation to evolving needs are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Positive, adaptable and able to coordinate across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Organise and co-ordinate alternative provision across the Academy.
• Support the Academy’s attendance function where required.
• Engage with external alternative provision providers and agencies.
• Conduct quality assurance visits to ensure placement suitability and effectiveness.
