Job summary
RNN Group is seeking a Learning Technologist (SEND) to champion inclusive digital practice across its sites. The role focuses on assistive technology, accessibility leading within the Digital Innovation & AI department, and transforming reasonable adjustments into active digital realities for SEND learners.
You will support learners directly, train staff on inclusive digital pedagogy, and drive WCAG compliance while collaborating with curriculum and IT teams in a fast-evolving AI-enabled
Qualifications
- Experience working with SEND learners and assistive tech.
- Strong knowledge of WCAG compliance and digital inclusion best practices.
- Experience in FE/HE environments.
- Degree in special education, digital accessibility or IT; specialist certification in assistive technologies desirable.
- Level 2 English and Maths (or willingness to undertake).
Responsibilities
- Specialist Learner Support for SEND learners with personalised digital toolkits.
- Staff Inclusion Training for teaching and support staff on inclusive digital practices.
- Accessibility Consultancy ensuring WCAG compliance across digital platforms.
- Barrier Removal & Auditing to adapt learning materials for diverse cohorts.
- Lead the implementation of Reasonable Adjustments in the classroom with technology.
- Contribute to inclusive digital policies aligned with AI and Digital Strategy.
- Intervention & Escalation to resolve accessibility or technical issues with senior staff.
