Job summary

Think FE Ltd in Northamptonshire is seeking a Teaching and Innovation Coach SEND to work with curriculum teams and teaching staff. This initial fixed-term role focuses on enhancing teaching, learning, and assessment with a strong emphasis on inclusive practice and supporting learners with SEND.

You will coach staff to develop more inclusive and engaging teaching, share practical techniques, champion SEND strategies, and help teams adapt delivery to meet diverse learner needs while contributing

Qualifications

A Level 5 teaching qualification such as a PGCE, CertEd or equivalent.
A Level 3 SEND qualification.
Strong knowledge of inclusive teaching and SEND best practice.
Experience supporting or developing teaching staff.
A recognised coaching or mentoring qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Coach and support teaching staff to develop more inclusive, engaging and innovative practice.
Work with curriculum teams to improve teaching and learning for diverse groups of learners.
Champion effective SEND strategies across the college.
Help staff adapt delivery to better meet individual learner needs.
Share best practice and new approaches to teaching.
Support the professional development of teaching teams through coaching, mentoring and training.
