Job summary

Colchester Institute Enterprises Limited is seeking an Inclusive Support Practitioner to provide in-person or virtual support to learners across courses, assisting with literacy, numeracy, focus, and breaking tasks into steps.

You will work under a tutor to help learners gain independence, support SPaG, and assist with mobility around the campus while maintaining records in college IT systems and EHCP reviews as required.

Qualifications

• Proven commitment to supporting others to achieve goals.
• Understanding of learning support in education and its purpose.
• Confident using ICT including internet, e-mail, word, and basic collaboration tools (e.g., Teams).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person or virtual support to designated learners across various courses.
• Assist learners with literacy and numeracy, focus, and breaking tasks into steps.
• Support with SPaG corrections and feedback without formal assessment.
• Maintain accurate progress records using college IT systems and update EHCPs as needed.
