Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group is seeking a compassionate Learning Support Practitioner to provide tailored support to students with high levels of need across Entry Level to Level 3, including GCSE English and Maths. You will assist in classrooms, workshops and enrichment activities, promoting independence and confidence.

The role offers full training, collaborative teamwork with staff, and opportunities to support personal care if required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEND
• Ability to work with learners across different abilities
• Willingness to undertake personal care tasks if required

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEND
• Assist in classroom sessions, workshops and enrichment activities
• Support students with personal care or welfare needs when required
• Collaborate with teaching staff and external professionals to ensure inclusive learning
• Help students achieve qualifications and progression goals
