Job summary

Derby College Group (DCG) seeks Learning Support Assistants for their Student Experience and Pastoral team at Broomfield Hall. You’ll support students with inclusion needs across GCSE English/Maths and other activities, on campus and in class.

We value a can-do attitude, relationship building and initiative to help students access curriculum and develop resilience for adult life. DBS checks and evidence of Maths/English GCSE are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold at least Grade C/4 in GCSE Maths
• Must hold at least Grade C/4 in GCSE English
• Ability to build relationships and foster confidence
• Practical problem solving and using initiative

Responsibilities

• Support students in GCSE English and Maths classes.
• Assist learners across all levels and campus activities.
• Develop resilience and independence in students.
• Support students with Dyslexia, Mental Health, or Autism needs.
