Job summary

Derby College Group (DCG) is recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join the Student Experience and Pastoral team at Broomfield Hall, supporting a student on a 1-1 basis. You will deliver tailored assistance to meet diverse needs, enabling equitable access and progress across learning settings.

We welcome motivated individuals with strong communication skills, a commitment to inclusion, and an understanding of SEND provisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing tailored support to students with additional learning needs.
• Working knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and Equality Act 2010 helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide support services inside and outside the classroom to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with individualized learning plans, small group interventions or collaboration with specialists as needed.
