Job summary

Derby College Group (DCG) is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for our Pathways team at the rural Broomfield Hall Campus. You will provide a range of support services to students with inclusion needs, both in and outside the classroom, and may assist with personal care as required.

You will be a positive role model with strong communication and problem-solving skills, helping students access the entire curriculum and make progress.

Qualifications

• Provide range of support services in and outside the classroom to students with inclusion and support needs.
• Assist students with personal care if required.
• Be a positive role model and use initiative to help students access the curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Support students to access all elements of the curriculum.
• Work with the Pathways team to coordinate learning support.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with students and staff.
