Job summary

AMA Admin is seeking Inclusive Learning Pathway Support staff to work in a Northumberland partner SEND school. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, supporting children with autism, speech and language needs, and other complex communication needs in a therapeutic, holistic curriculum.

  • Experience supporting children or young people, ideally within SEND, Autism, SLCN, or complex needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to support non-verbal communication
  • The ability to provide two recent references (work-based or educational)
  • A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting emotional regulation and learning
  • A genuine passion for inclusion, wellbeing, and child-centered education

  • Provide tailored support to pupils within the Inclusive Learning Pathway, both in and out of the classroom

  • Support pupils during sensory-based learning, therapeutic sessions, outdoor learning, and Forest School activities

Inclusive Learning Pathway Support

Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30

We are seeking Inclusive Learning Pathway Support staff to work within one of our partner SEND schools in Northumberland. This exceptional setting delivers a therapeutic and holistic curriculum tailored to children with Autism, speech and language difficulties, developmental delay, and complex communication needs. The school incorporates approaches such as Forest School, sensory-based learning, and creative interventions, supported by excellent facilities, on-site therapists, and a highly supportive Senior Leadership Team. There are strong opportunities for long-term and permanent roles for the right candidates.

This rewarding role focuses on supporting children within an inclusive learning pathway, many of whom are non-verbal or have significant communication and interaction needs. You will help pupils regulate emotions, build independence, develop communication, and access learning in ways that meet their individual needs.

You’ll work closely with teachers, therapists, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to create a structured, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, understood, and empowered to thrive.

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

What You Need
