Job summary

Envision Education in Bushey is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities in a specialist primary setting (Years 3-6) to help them reach their potential in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 9:00am-3:30pm, starting in September, with a collaborative team and ongoing training in a SEND setting.

Qualifications

  • Essential SEND experience with complex needs (≥3 months).
  • Experience supporting children with PMLD or severe learning difficulties.
  • Enhanced DBS on update service or willing to obtain one.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Looking for a rewarding role supporting children with profound and multiple learning disabilities?

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist primary setting in Bushey, working with pupils in Years 3-6 to help them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

This is a full-time position starting in September, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am-3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous SEND experience (minimum 3 months).
  • Experience supporting children or young people with complex needs, PMLD, or severe learning difficulties.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a special school or specialist provision.
  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience using alternative communication methods such as Makaton, PECS, or AAC.
