Job summary

St Matthew’s Primary and Nursery Academy in Derriford is seeking an Inclusion Teacher to lead provision for pupils with complex SEND and SEMH needs. The role focuses on creating calm, nurturing learning environments and personalised pathways to help children thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Working alongside the SENCo and FSW, you will help shape high-quality provision, with opportunities to support other schools within the trust.

Qualifications

• Experience with pupils who have SEND and SEMH needs.
• Trauma-informed approaches and personalised learning.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver provision for children with complex SEND and SEMH needs.
• Develop highly personalised learning experiences and environments.
• Support the SENCo and Family Support Worker within the school.
