Job summary

Include St Matthews is seeking a passionate, resilient Teacher to plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons for students with SEMH, SEND, or who require alternative provision. You will work within a trauma-informed framework to help each pupil feel known, understood and supported to succeed.

Experience of SEMH/SEND is desirable but not essential; full training and ongoing support are provided within a graduated approach to behaviour and a Teach Like a Champion framework.

Qualifications

• QTS required and eligible to work in the UK.
• Experience planning and delivering engaging lessons.
• Resilient, nurturing approach with high expectations for every pupil.
• Strong safeguarding understanding including KCSIE.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well-structured, differentiated lessons meeting diverse learner needs.
• Create an inclusive, stimulating classroom environment.
• Build trusted relationships to help pupils feel safe and understood.
• Collaborate with Headteacher, SENDCo and staff to support pupils.
