Job summary

Derby College Group is seeking an Inclusion Job Coach to join our Pathways team based at the Broomfield Hall campus. You will support students to overcome barriers and progress toward employment through tailored coaching, mentoring and practical help, in collaboration with teachers, employers and external partners.

You will build relationships, promote confidence, and help students access work experience, supported internships and paid opportunities, while upholding Equality Act 2010 and

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with disabilities or barriers to employment.
• Knowledge of Equality Act 2010, SEND reforms, EHCPs and inclusive practices.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to work towards a relevant qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support students to overcome barriers and achieve employment goals.
• Build relationships with students, teachers, employers and external partners.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and practical support to develop confidence and independence.
