Job summary
Derby College Group (DCG) is recruiting an Inclusion Job Coach to join our Pathways team, based at the iconic Broomfield Hall campus. You will support students to overcome barriers and work towards employment goals, providing tailored coaching, mentoring and practical help.
Working with teachers, employers and external partners, you will help create positive employment pathways, secure work experience and Supported Internships, and guide students towards sustainable paid work and long-term
Qualifications
- Compassionate, organised candidate with a focus on supporting students.
- Knowledge of Equality Act 2010, SEND reforms, EHCPs and inclusive practices.
- Level 3 or 4 learning support/teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) and Level 2 Maths and English.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored coaching, mentoring and practical support to students.
- Build relationships with students, teachers, employers and external partners.
- Help create employment pathways, work experience and Supported Internships and guide progression to paid work.
