Job summary

Sawtry Junior Academy is seeking a committed Inclusion Manager to lead inclusive practice across the school within Meridian Trust. You will oversee the inclusion provision, ensuring a safe, calm learning environment and guiding pathways for pupils aged 7–11.

You will adapt lessons for small groups, respond to challenging behaviours with guidance, and foster a nurturing environment that supports social and emotional needs while contributing to the academy’s positive ethos.

Qualifications

• Lead and develop inclusive practice across the school to support all pupils.
• Manage the inclusion provision and provide academic support and suitable pathways for children.
• Adapt and deliver curriculum lessons and activities to small groups in provision.
• Respond to challenging behaviours with guidance and strategies.
• Maintain a nurturing, calm space to support social, emotional and mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the inclusion provision and ensure a safe, positive learning environment.
• Adapt curriculum for small groups and tailor support to individual needs.
• Provide guidance on behaviour and academic pathways for pupils in provision.
• Promote inclusive practice and create a calm, supportive atmosphere across the school.
