Job summary

Nottingham College is seeking a proactive Head of Inclusion to lead the Inclusion Team and ensure high-quality, compliant support for students with diverse needs. You will oversee Team Leaders, Dyslexia Specialists, and Inclusion staff to deliver tailored support and timely exam access arrangements with JCQ adherence.

You will drive staff development, performance reviews, and collaboration with Curriculum, Wellbeing and Safeguarding to foster an inclusive culture across all college sites.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Inclusion teams and service delivery across multiple sites.
• Knowledge of JCQ regulations and deadlines for exam access arrangements.
• Experience managing budgets, funding and audit requirements.
• Committed to safeguarding and student-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and manage the Inclusion Team across College sites.
• Provide line management and strategic oversight of Team Leaders and Dyslexia Team.
• Ensure delivery of in-class and out-of-class support, incl. exam access arrangements.
• Oversee student support planning, caseload management and reviews.
• Collaborate with Curriculum, Wellbeing and Safeguarding teams to improve outcomes.
• Monitor performance, compliance and funding; drive continuous improvements.
• Coordinate support and funding for High Needs students; ensure audit compliance.
• Support timetabling, resource allocation and service delivery across sites.
• Respond to complex queries and mentor staff for progression.
