Job summary

St Mary's Catholic High School is seeking an Inclusion Lead to support some of our most vulnerable students. The role requires safeguarding commitment and a sound understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.

You will work with the SENCo, families and external agencies to ensure targeted, effective support and reintegration into mainstream learning where possible. The postholder will oversee the day-to-day management of the RESET Room and wider inclusion provision, with a focus on attendance,

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable young people.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practice and the SEND Code of Practice.
• Ability to lead and manage an inclusion provision and support reintegration into mainstream learning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of the school's RESET Room and wider inclusion provision.
• Identify and address barriers to learning, attendance, behaviour and wellbeing.
