Job summary

St Mary’s Catholic High School seeks a dedicated Inclusion Lead to support vulnerable students, safeguarding, and wellbeing. You will lead the school's inclusion provision, coordinate with the SENCo, families, staff, and external agencies to remove barriers to learning and enable reintegration into mainstream education where feasible.

The ideal candidate demonstrates resilience, professionalism and strong interpersonal skills to uphold high expectations and outcomes for students.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable young people.
• Sound understanding of safeguarding practice and SEND Code of Practice.
• Experience working with SENCo, families, staff and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of the RESET Room and wider inclusion provision.
• Identify and address barriers to learning, attendance, behaviour and wellbeing.
• Support reintegration into mainstream learning where possible.
• Collaborate with SENCo and external agencies to coordinate support.
