Job summary

UTC Leeds is seeking a Senior Inclusion Support Worker - Intervention Co-Ordinator to work with the SENCO and teachers to drive inclusive practice for students. The role involves coordinating SEN plans, delivering literacy interventions, and supporting learning for individuals and small groups at Sayner Road, Leeds.

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 and small-group literacy support under supervision, with training available for phonics and reading comprehension.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating SEN Plans and supporting literacy interventions.
• Ability to deliver small-group and 1:1 literacy support.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interventions and academic lessons to small groups and 1:1 students to close literacy gaps.
• Work under guidance from the SENCO and English department to support curriculum delivery.
• Participate in phonics and reading comprehension training to support learners.
