Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking an experienced SEND Teacher to lead the Inclusion Hub at a mainstream primary in Ealing, West London.

You will support KS1 pupils with additional needs, manage a small team of three Teaching Assistants and adapt resources to meet EHCP and OT/SaLT guidance. The role offers a long-term, full-time or part-time contract, with progression opportunities and the Inner London pay scale (M1-UPS3).

Qualifications

• Experience teaching pupils with SEND and applying EHCPs in an inclusion setting.
• Ability to plan personalised learning and adapt resources for diverse needs.
• Strong behaviour management and effective communication with staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and teach within the Inclusion Hub for up to six KS1 pupils with SEND.
• Adapt lesson plans and resources to meet individual needs.
• Create weekly timetables and provision in line with EHCPs, OT and SaLT programmes.
• Monitor pupil progress and adjust teaching approaches accordingly.
• Manage and coordinate three Teaching Assistants to deliver planned support.
• Collaborate with Year 1 teachers to ensure curriculum continuity and inclusion.
• Provide flexible teaching cover across stages from EYFS to Year 6 when required.
• Attend CPD sessions to enhance SEND provision and practice.
