Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is working closely with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Wellingborough that is seeking a dedicated Class Teacher & SENDCO to join their team as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will spend 50% of their time teaching and 50% coordinating SEND across the school, balancing classroom practice with SEND leadership and ensuring EHCPs are reviewed and implemented.

Qualifications

• Holds UK QTS and primary teaching experience.
• NASENCO qualification or willingness to work towards it.
• Strong knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and EHCP processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inclusive lessons meeting all pupils' needs.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to support individual learning needs.
• Coordinate SEND provision across the school.
• Review EHCPs and support plans.
• Collaborate with staff, parents and external professionals.
• Contribute to safeguarding and inclusion strategy.
• Balance classroom teaching with SEND leadership duties.
