Job summary

Ken Stimpson Academy in Peterborough is seeking a compassionate Inclusion & Care Coordinator to join our inclusion team. You will work directly with vulnerable learners, including Children in Care and those with SEND or SEMH needs, to remove barriers to learning and promote attendance and engagement.

You will collaborate with families, social workers, the Virtual School and school staff to plan personalised support, monitor progress, and ensure safeguarding and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Understanding of trauma-informed and relational approaches when working with young people.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students, families and professionals.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentoring and pastoral support for vulnerable learners including SEND/SEMH and attendance issues.
• Support EBSA learners through personalised intervention and reintegration plans.
• Deliver interventions focused on emotional wellbeing, confidence, resilience and engagement.
