Job summary

Wiltshire College & University Centre in Lackham is seeking an Inclusion Manager to lead our inclusion agenda, ensuring every learner belongs, can access opportunities and is supported to reach their full potential.

You will work across curriculum, professional services and external partnerships to drive attendance, engagement and progression for disadvantaged or care-experienced learners, acting as the designated site lead for looked-after pupils and collaborating with the Virtual School.

Qualifications

• Experience leading inclusion, student engagement and learner support within education.
• Ability to identify and remove barriers to participation and progression.
• Level 4 teaching qualification (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Drive the College's vision for inclusion, belonging and equity, ensuring all learners can participate, succeed and thrive.
• Lead initiatives that improve attendance, engagement, achievement, progression and learner experience for disadvantaged and underrepresented groups.
• Work alongside curriculum teams and professional services to identify and remove barriers to learning, participation and success.
• Develop and embed inclusive practices across the College through training, coaching and staff support.
• Coordinate targeted interventions for learners facing social, emotional, economic or personal barriers to achievement.
• Build effective partnerships with local authorities, schools, community organisations and external agencies to strengthen learner support and progression pathways.
