Job summary

Coastal Academies Trust is seeking an Inclusion Assistant for Key Stage 1 – Intially Early Years (Pre-school/Reception). The position is permanent, 30 hours per week, term time only, with a Grade 3 Point 11 salary of £24,800 FTE (£16,998 actual).

You will support whole class, small groups and some 1:1 work within the classroom and interventions. Training and development are provided, with a collaborative team and strong emphasis on pupil success.

Qualifications

• Ideally has experience working with primary aged children in a school setting but patience, resilience, kindness, a positive attitude and good sense of humour are equally as important.
• Is willing to learn how to support children with additional needs or has experience of ( eg VI trained)
• Can work as part of a team and also from their own initiative
• Can be flexible in response to the needs of children and the school

We are excited to be looking for a new Inclusion Assistant to join our fabulous support team. The role will be a mix of whole class support, small group work and some 1:1 support within the classroom and through interventions.

We have a knowledgeable and supportive staff who will offer training, guidance and expertise. Our teachers and Inclusion Assistants work closely and collaboratively together as a team to ensure that every child can succeed.

We are looking for someone who:
