Wellacre Academy is seeking an Inclusion Assistant (Permanent) to join the Inclusion Team. The role focuses on providing pastoral and academic support for students with SEND and other barriers to learning and wellbeing.
It may involve taught interventions and in-class support, with occasional cover for classes when needed. The post is Band 4 - SCP 12-17 (£28,598 - £31,022) pro-rata (£23,967 - £25,998), paid for 37.25 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum including INSET Days.

We wish to appoint a motivated, committed and enthusiastic member of our Support Staff team. The post offers a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to work with an existing team of experienced professionals in a role which is wide ranging and for which the successful candidate will receive appropriate training and support. The role will be based within the Inclusion Team and the primary purpose is to provide effective pastoral and academic support for students with SEND and other barriers to their learning and wellbeing. This may be through taught interventions and pastoral provisions with identified students or small groups and provisioning in class support in lessons. Occasionally, you may be asked to provide cover for classes in the absence of a teacher.
