Generator Power, the UK’s largest independent rental generator company, seeks a Service Controller in Normanton. This full-time role handles service operations, warranties, job sheets, and reporting within a busy service department.

The ideal candidate has administration experience, plant/service industry knowledge, and excellent Excel skills to sort data accurately. Shift patterns include Tue–Sun with 40 hours weekly; on-site parking and pension loyalty scheme are offered.

Qualificações

• Plant or service industry experience.
• Service Controller experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills essential.
• Ability to accurately and efficiently sort data.

Responsabilidades

• Handle customer calls for the Service Department.
• Manage manufacturer warranty processes.
• Process chargeable and non-chargeable job sheets (including Fuel Utilities, Fuel 4x4, and ENW own sets).
• Record duty on-call forms and update breakdown lists.
• Consolidate, create, and distribute service and overdue lists.
• Resolve service list queries.
• Process on/off hires and exchanges on service lists.
• Assist in the production of management reports.
• Plan and maintain the EE Service list, including permit applications.
• Oversee the running of the UU Service Contract.
• Support the fuel management function.

Job Description:

Generator Power is the UK’s largest independent rental generator company, operating a fleet from 10kVA to 1250kVA and supporting industries including offshore oil and gas, telecoms, manufacturing, events, and construction. With 26 years’ industry experience, Generator Power continues to grow and is now looking for a Service Controller to join our team in Normanton.

Hours:

• Full-time, permanent role.
• 40 hours per week - Tue - Fri 10am / 7pm and then Saturday 7am - 7pm (12 hour shift).
• Shift patterns: Tuesday - Sunday.

Duties / Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)
