Job summary

Smiths News is seeking an Instore Merchandiser to bring products to life on the shop floor across Tiverton and Crediton. You’ll own your territory, manage POS placement, stock replenishment and audits, and build strong relationships with store colleagues.

You’ll work autonomously with a flexible, part-time schedule (5–20 hours per week) and must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. UK travel and mileage payments may apply.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, high integrity and reliable.
• To be located within 15 miles of advertised area.
• Ability to work on own initiative and make the right decisions under pressure.
• Full commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Own your territory and manage POS placement, stock replenishment and auditing.
• Create and maintain visually impactful displays that stay on-brand.
• Build strong relationships with store colleagues and managers.
• Plan cost-effective visiting routes and ensure visits deliver value.
• Ensure stock is replenished and displays stay current between visits.
