Job summary

Smiths News in Cardiff region is seeking an Instore Merchandiser to bring products to life on the shop floor. You’ll own your territory, manage point-of-sale placements, stock replenishment and auditing, and create on-brand displays.

If you enjoy working autonomously, building relationships with store colleagues and managers, and planning cost-effective visits, this flexible part-time role could fit around your commitments. Driving licence and vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Previous Merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory.
• Friendly confident personality with a can do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, high integrity and reliable.
• Be located within 15 miles of advertised area.
• Ability to work on own initiative and make the right decisions under pressure.
• Full commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Own territory, manage point-of-sale placement, stock replenishment and auditing.
• Create and maintain visually impactful displays.
• Build strong relationships with store colleagues and managers.
• Keep everything in order; ensure stock is replenished and displays stay on-brand.
• Plan cost-efficient visits and make each visit count.
