Job summary

Smiths News in Norwich is seeking an Instore Merchandiser to bring products to life on the shop floor. You’ll own your territory, manage POS placement, stock replenishment and auditing, and build relationships with store colleagues to keep displays on-brand.

This flexible, part-time role offers 5–20 hours per week (not guaranteed), pay £14.24 per hour including holiday pay, travel time and mileage payable subject to eligibility, and a location allowance if applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory.
• You will need a friendly confident personality with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, high integrity and reliable.
• To be located within 15 miles of advertised area.

Responsibilities

• Own your territory on the shop floor, managing point-of-sale placement, stock replenishment and auditing.
• Create and maintain visually impactful displays and build strong relationships with store colleagues and managers.
• Keep displays on-brand and ensure stock is replenished and correctly presented.
• Take charge of your own cost-effective journey plan and maximise each visit.
