Job summary

Smiths News is hiring an Instore Merchandiser for Witham on a flexible, part-time basis. Pay is £14.24 per hour (holiday pay included), with travel time and mileage paid where eligible. You’ll work 5–20 hours weekly on a flexible contract, holding a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Role involves stocking, POS placement, auditing, and maintaining on-brand displays while building good store relationships. Location allowances may apply.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving licence and use of vehicle required.
• Previous Merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory.
• Friendly, confident personality with can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own your territory and manage point-of-sale placement, stock replenishment and audits.
• Create and maintain visually impactful displays and build relationships with store colleagues.
• Ensure displays stay on-brand and stock is replenished during visits.
• Plan cost-effective routes and visit schedules, working autonomously.
