1st Central is recruiting a Motor Vehicle In-House Engineer to join our Engineering team. Based in Haywards Heath or Salford Quays, Manchester, you will guide customers through claims, ensuring safe, cost‑effective repairs or accurate valuations.

Initial 2 weeks in-office training, then hybrid work with 4 days at home and 1 day in the office, with flexibility to stay longer in the office. You will need strong organisation and time-management skills, with team collaboration, clear communication,

• Clear communication with customers and colleagues via phone, email and chat.
• Experience in the Motor Trade Industry is desirable.
• AQP qualification is desirable for applicants.

Responsabilidades

• Negotiate settlement of motor vehicles.
• Work to agreed timescales and business parameters.
• Liaise directly with customers throughout the claim process.
• Audit and evaluate repairer performance, costs and service quality.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and third parties.
