Job summary

Noble Recruiting Ltd. is seeking an Import Supervisor in Basildon to oversee daily import operations from origin to final UK delivery. This permanent, full-time role includes customs clearance, container allocations, transport, warehousing and accurate import documentation.

You will lead the operations team, foster relationships with shipping lines and suppliers, and resolve escalated queries while collaborating with Sales and Accounts to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Previous import freight forwarding experience.
• Strong end-to-end import and customs knowledge.
• Experience handling Bills of Lading and shipping documentation.
• Excellent organisation, problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to lead calmly in a busy operational environment.

Noble Recruiting is seeking an experienced Import Supervisor to join an established freight forwarding team in Basildon.

You will oversee the daily running of import operations, managing shipments from origin through to final UK delivery. This includes customs clearance, container allocations, transport, warehousing, cargo releases and accurate import documentation.

You will support and guide the operational team, build strong relationships with shipping lines and suppliers, resolve escalated customer queries and work closely with Sales, Accounts and internal teams to deliver an excellent service.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous import freight forwarding experience
