Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is hiring an Import Logistics Executive in Grays. The role focuses on coordinating import operations within a small-to-medium freight forwarder, liaising with shipping lines, hauliers and depots while ensuring timely vessel arrivals, collections and deliveries.

Working Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, with a clear progression path and excellent company benefits. Salary ranges between 30,000 and 35,000 plus progression opportunities.

Qualifications

Import Logistics Executive

Grays (Commutable from: Tilbury, Basildon, Gravesend, Dartford, Southend-on-Sea, Chelmsford, Romford, Rainham)

Are you an Import Logistics Executive looking for a stable, Monday-to-Friday role with consistent 9-5 hours? Do you have experience within a small-to-medium freight forwarder, working with vessel arrivals, collections and deliveries?

This is a secure, permanent position with a clear day-to-day routine, where you can focus on delivering a smooth import operation in an office-based environment with the opportunity to progress your career in the long term.

The company who are an established freight forwarding and logistics business (AEO accredited) have gone through a period of sustained growth. As a result, they are now looking to add to their import logistics team.

In this highly varied role, you'll liaise with shipping lines, hauliers and depots, monitor vessel arrivals, organise collections and deliveries, raise internal files, and prepare/process invoices.

This role would suit an Import Logistics executive who is looking to take the next step in their career within a well-established company who are renowned for looking after their staff.

The Role

• Managing import logistics operations, coordinating with shipping lines, hauliers and depots.
• Monitoring vessel arrivals, organising collections/deliveries, raising files and handling invoices.
• Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.

The Person

• Proven track record working for a small-to-medium freight forwarder (import operations).
• Experience using CNS and Destin8, plus strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Team player with strong communication skills for stakeholder liaison.
